I've never signed up for an account and started to get receipts for food i never ordered. When I canceled my card, the thieves kept up ordering food using someone else's card.

How could the first card be used legally--and how could the second card (that does not have my name on it) be used legally?

I hope they are held liable for all of the charges--or maybe it's someone on their staff stealing. Since there was a test charge of $1, I have a feeling it's a Door Dash employee ordering food using stolen credit card data.

That would be kinda difficult for us to do as we will not take any cc info over the phone, chat, or email. Anywhere we look on a customers account only will show the last 4 numbers....THATS IT!

So maybe ask the kids other family members, etc to see if your card was used to place orders.

I'm sorry but your feelings are incorrect regarding a dd employee using stolen cc info. Even if we log in as someone to remove a cc from an account....still we only see the last 4 numbers.

Also......we would actually have to verify we are the cardholder in order to place an order on a customers account. Plus, there is not one item from any restaurant or any fee that we charge that is only $1.

That is a system generated charge to hold funds until the order is processed in the system. It's not a full blown charge it's a pending one.
