Ok....let me be clear. YES!

Why, it does take you calling us to know that there is no dasher on the order!!!! How else do u expect us to know about it?

We don't have a fancy alert system telling us which orders don't have a dasher yet. More times than not, the restaurant is calling us to ask where the dasher is.

I would like a full refund, barring that, at a minimum refund the tip, delivery fee, and half the order cost as I had to go out and get replacement food.

First of all.....unless the restaurant has chosen to have the dasher place the order...they will not see your special instructions. Only the restaurant sees that info.

Second....the dasher doesn't just buy whatever they want....really??? Lol most likely, the dasher might have grabbed someone else's order? OR because the sandwich isn't on their menu for DD they had to sub it out for the most comparable item. Which would result in you getting something completely different.

If it's not on the DD menu, they don't offer it for take out. In store only item.

Doordash - Website Review from Los Angeles, California

We placed an order on the website, and waited for restaurant confirmation for about 10 minutes before canceling the order. Several people saw the order cancelled, so we closed the window and ordered elsewhere. 30 minutes later we receive a text that the food was on its was and received an email that the order was confirmed. We had explicitly cancelled this order, but we're still charged, and so far have not gotten any food. There was no doordash phone number to call and fix this, but we tried the support chat and got no response. We've emailed a complaint And hope this will be resolved, but so far no luck.

No delivery, no attempt to make it right until too late.

After my food was 45 minutes late, I finally got the guy on the phone to admit that the driver just disappeared without picking up the food. No apology, and they only refunded my money after I made a stink about it. Afterward, they only attempted to make this right when I made it clear that I would never use them again. Door Dash cares nothing for retaining good customers. App deleted. Good riddance, I hope you run out of business soon.

Terrible Customer Service

Doordash crossed my addresses when completing my order, and told the delivery guy to go to the wrong address. I noticed within 10 minutes of the order being placed and immediately contacted Doordash. Not only did they fail to cancel the order, they failed to even contact the delivery person. I ended up spending the next two hours fielding calls from the delivery guy and emails from Doordash (who could not be reached by phone). My food was never delivered. Doordash ducked my calls and emails for the next two days and finally said sent an email saying they didn't care and would not be issuing even a partial refund.

Terrible Unethical Company! BOTTOM LINE!

Okay, this company from a consumer end has gotten wrong 50 of the 75 orders we have made. We overlooked, and because we knew would fall back on there drivers, let it go. Now here is bigger issue, they change the options to cancel from order or use vendor recommendation. He is the bottom line, there processes suck and doomed to failure. They can take there *** token refunds and shove it! We finally asked as the orders were so bad, and obvious they are only concerned about themselves. If you read about the company or the way they set up there poor dashers. It really is a bunch of unethical TIGHT self serving Stanford boys, with NO COMMON sense. Brains don't always make good business men. The CEO must be a real self serving ***! Never had such a one sided experience over time. There website is foul! try to fins a phone number, to change or remove your credit card. Try to cancel your account! IMPOSSIBLE! You can at times chat, and oh I am so sorry, oh were so sorry your not happy! Oh so sorry! then ignore everything you are saying and offer you a $6.99 delivery fee, I am sure they pull from there driver. I would bet they don't even give the driver the tip the they force you to add. Bottom line, they SCREW UP because of bad policies. Send you $30 of incorrect food, you tip $6 and they refund you $6.99 which they I AM SURE THEY TAKE FROM THERE DRIVERS. *** WILL NEVER EVER GET A PENNY FROM ME EVER AGAIN, BEWARE!
