Doordash Delivery Service Review

My delivery never showed up and I got no notification. I won't use this device ever again. When you give an time of arrival it is expected it will arrive then and if not a notification should be sent. If it is never going to show you should give credit and refund the customer and notify them as well.

Instead of willfully convincing your customers that a certain restaurant is open when it's not, maybe you could be upfront with your patrons and admit that a certain option is closed and unavailable... I don't know, maybe because OUR TIME IS VALUABLE, AND NOT EVERYONE APPRECIATES BEING SWINDLED INTO SPENDING HALF AN HOUR TRYING TO SELECT FOOD, ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT THE *** PLACE IS CLOSED, AND THAT IT HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR THE LAST TWO HOURS. Update your ***, you retards. You literally lost business today because of your ***, congratulations.

Door Dash Austin Tx is bull *** waited over an hour for food and it NEVER GOT HERE. They say sorry we can refund. ITS NOT ABOUT THE REFUND IT THE FACT THAT I CHOOSE THEM OVER POSTMATES AND THEY FAILED. DO NOT TRY DOOR DASH THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE. Postmates here I come.

My order was over an hour late. The food was warm like it was sitting in the sun. The cheesecake had melted. DoorDash did nothing about it except offer me free delivery for next order. I had to throw out my entire order for my safety and DoorDash would not even acknowledge the safety issue of delivering food in an unsafe way. It was a salad. I salad that had been siting in the sun for over an hour!! It is a scam!!

you’re a damn idiot. that’s not the drivers fault.

they HAVE to accept the order, if not their ratings go down. doordash just throws orders at you even if they’re not at your convenience and give you impossible delivery times, you should be complaining to the company and the way their system works not a driver who has no control over it. big dummy, the rating system also, for anyone out there who doesn’t know, it’s towards the DRIVER not the company, and usually 90% of the time the reason your food is cold/late is doordashs fault because they don’t let the customer know when they can’t find a driver for their order in the area, or when they’re giving their only driver in that area multiple orders because they don’t want to seem like their system SUCKS which it does. You think someone who depends on ratings for their job will purposely do something to mess it up?

You’re dumb. you’re an angry customer with no common sense just wants to point fingers at someone.

Ordered my several hours ago and still has not arrived. I contacted them at 30 minutes late and was told my driver had just contacted "dispatch" saying they were waiting at the restaurant for my food and were worried it would be cold. I was asked what i wanted, to which i replied, a refund and my cold food. They told me that would not be a problem and my driver would be in way shortly. Another 30 minutes go by and still no food. So, i contacted them again and received a response that they aste looking into the matter and would contact me in 10 minutes. Well, it has been over another 30 minutes and i still have not received my cold food. This is ridiculous. I just had a baby 2 months ago that i am taking care of, while i deal with the foot i just broke and cannot put weight on. Worst service ever.

This operation is so horrible it's *almost* comical

I placed an order at 10:30am for 17 items totalling around $200 for delivery from 11:30am-12pm for an office meeting. The order finally arrived at my office at 2:05pm and EVERY SINGLE ITEM WAS INCORRECT. Called customer service multiple times, each time 30-45 min apart and each time the customer service person flat out lied to me and told me that the door dasher, "James", "Villma" or "Jasmin" were already at the restaurant and putting my order in and I should wait another 20-25 min and it will be there. Each time, I called back they told me the same story but with a different name. Finally caught on to these lies, and demanded that I get the real story and the rep broke down that the company is growing too fast and their software is too buggy and that they don't have enough manpower to service the demand, hence the reason why they just flat out drop the ball on large orders. What? WHAT? Then don't take on the business if you can't actually handle it. This is not the consumer's problem, it's the company's problem. I don't know what level of incompitence you need to have to get that many things wrong when there's only a couple options on the menu (it was from Qdoba). Or to be that delayed. How is this compnay still in business when they can't get delivery OR orders correct? I mean I understand mistakes happen, but if I knew a customer was waiting over 2 hours past the promised delivery time, I would make *** sure that every single item was correct so at least they can enjoy the meal they waited over 2 hours for. What a bunch of ***-artists.
