Wasting money while taking chances with Door Dash

I've just notified Door Dash of missing items on a second order I placed today. I was just informed no credit could be issued due to the amount of a prior credit posted to my account today.

The credit issued today was for $2.50 for an undercooked cheeseburger from Five Guys that I threw away.

The burger cost almost 9.00.

The credit issued wasn't even what it should have been.

I decided to order a second time through Door Dash and had a side missing.

The more I order with Door Dash, the more I feel like I'm gambling and losing my money. I might feel better about wasting my money if I had some form of provided entertainment like what a casino would have for a customer.

I don't enjoy gambling, and I don't enjoy wasting money with a company that is becoming more unreliable.

Keep the change, I'll make more effort to go out to get my own food.

#1 How is an undercooked burger DoorDash's fault?? #2 Due to Covid guidelines, all order bags are SUPPOSED to be sealed by the merchant.

Your DoorDash delivery person IS NOT allowed to open any bags & check orders since Covid started.

Both of these examples are MERCHANT issues, yet you are giving DoorDash bad reviews. You should consider yourself lucky that you've apparently already received too much credit from DoorDash for complaints that should've been credited from the Merchant you ordered from in the 1st place.

Food was ruined by driver

Our food was delivered early, in sub freezing weather, but there was no knock or ringing of the doorbell. Instead, an email was sent, which we were not watching for, so the food sat for over an hour before we realized it had been delivered. When I wrote the company on the website to raise the issue, the response was that they would pass the information along to the restaurant, but the restaurant had done nothing wrong.

Stupidity

The workers are dumb. They dont even know English! Trying to apply for a job but the app doesnt work properly so Ive made 4 calls one woman hung up on me when she said she was transferring my call. 4 calls later will w no one will transfer me to a manager. Still same problem not fixed.

They took my money for my car but never delivered my food

My money has not been returned to my car after two transactions back to back and we never received the food I cant get no one on the phone they got me doing all of this and its really starting to *** me off

Im in Maryland & delivery was wrong address in missouri I ordered from Maryland & wanted delivery to come to 8913 holly leaf lane Bethesda, Md. instead order wound up being dispatched to 6 Otto Ct, which is not where Im at. I just want my money refunded back to my card

I placed an order from Walmart and didn’t know it would be delivered by the local store using Doordash . I got a notice my order was delivered.

It was not delivered to my place and the picture attached that showed where they delivered it was not of my neighborhood. Doordash will not do anything about it.

The first person I talked to said they were sending a replacement but it never came. I called today and their customer service said they have no record of my phone number even though they found it yesterday. After asking to speak to someone else the next person found everything but said he couldnt do anything. They hire drivers who dont seem to be able to read addresses but since I ordered through Walmart and they used Doordash they refuse to do anything.

Doordash obviously outsources their customer service and its hard to understand them sometimes. I no longer trust Doordash and will be closing my account with them.

I havent received my refund from Walmart yet and Doordash lied about having my order delivered again. If you want to make sure your order is delivered ask them to not use Doordash.

App is garbage need to change account details

I am pissed off I can't access my info and change it, I no longer live in north Carolina I live in Georgia. Therefore I can't schedule dash times. But since the app is garbage I tried online and all it does it's try to get you to download the app. The toll free number doesn't work either I am LIVID. There's no excuse for such poor design

Dasher support is a joke. Their solution to all problems is to read from a script and no emphasis on actually helping Dashers! Out of country Customer support (Most likely India) which in turn has reps that barely speak fluent English.

I have worked for DoorDash for a year and a half. I have been a Top Dasher for 10mo. My rating has never dropped below 4.9 out of 5. I'm on time, I complete orders, etc. I was wrongly deactivated two weeks ago, and was reactivated yesterday. They admitted there was no reason for the deactivation, yet they won't reinstate me as a Top Dasher. So in addition to two weeks of lost income, I am going to lose even more money since it's now slow season where I Dash and this time of the year is when I needed to be a Top Dasher. This is how they treat one of their best employees.
