I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN! I PLACE AN WINE ORDER AND I ACCIDENT LY WENT TO SLEEP. WHEN I WOKE UP, THE ORDER SAID COMPLETED AND I LOOKED OUTSIDE AND THE BOTTLE WAS WINE WAS NOT THERE. I CONTACTED DOOR DASH TO LET THEM KNOW I NEVER RELIEVED MY WINE, AND THEY EMAILED ME BACK SAYING THAT THEY ARE REFUSING MY REFUND!
DUE TO THE DASHER SAID, THE ORDER WAS COMPLETED. I CALL THE DASHER ON HER PHONE, ENDING IN 1566. SHE SAID SHE MARKED THE ORDER AS NO RESPONSE AND DOOR DASH TOLD HER TO DISPOSE OF MY WINE. SHE ALSO WAS WILLING TO BRING IT BACK TO ME IF I PAID HER OUTSIDE THE COMPANY.
THEN SHE SAID SHE COULD NOT BRING BACK TO UNTIL 7PM THIS AFTERNOON. I WILL BE PRESSING CHARGES AGAINST DOOR DASH FOR NOT REFUNDING MY $34.61.

Worst Support and Policies
I have been delivering for DoorDash for a few months now. There are many issues but I will focus on my experience with their Chat and Phone Support and policies.
Doordash offers, in my opinion, the worst customer service and support than any business I have ever worked for or with.
Representatives are ill-informed, lack attention/understanding to what is being written or said, will often tell you incorrect information, will not lift a finger to help, and on more than one occasion I have had support disconnect the phone call or end the chat.
Their support is bound to awful business policies such as 24-48 hour supervisor callbacks, no authority to issue credits/refunds, and scripting.
Here's what happened today: My wife was out dashing and accepted an order for her to deliver. She picks up the food and starts going to the address provided. She gets a text from the customer that the address is wrong and is asked to deliver to another address 14 miles away. I advise her to reach out to support.
She reports there is no option to call in the app and when she tries to do chat support it just ends and won't go to a representative.
I found the phone number and gave it to her. She calls support and let's them know of the situation, this was before the food had been delivered. She was told there would be no additional compensation for the added 14 miles. I called support with my wife on the line and was told the rep did not follow DoorDash's internal policy for this situation.
We were then told, regardless that the previous rep failed at their job and regardless that the app was not working properly there would be no additional compensation because it had already been delivered.
The complete lack of ownership/responsibility is a common experience any time I have to deal with their support. This company does NOT care about their customers or their delivery drivers as evidenced by their customer service, support, and policies.
