I ordered from HotBox Pizza, and the listed delivery fee was $1.99
Delivery was through Doordash, which is just a cluster F* in itself.
I ended up paying $95+ for 1 XL pizza and three orders of breadsticks (and eight cheese sauces that we never received).
I was charged a $1.99 delivery fee AND another (undisclosed) $10.38 in "service fees." Then, they added tax on EVERYTHING. You know that sales tax should be on products, not "additional fees."
Indiana State tax is 7%. But we were charged closer to 10.6% in taxes.
I will report this to the State Tax Board.
Think about how much DoorDash is collecting in "taxes" that they are not actually paying to the individual states.
Something seems shady here!

Alot of Technical issues on the app and Dasher not responding to customers message and charge so much (fees wise) and convenient, but, it's expensive though cuz of the fees. Dasher send the order the wrong door sometimes and not following directions/notes of their customers I made a complaint and review on doordash, so on! Scared and nervous and worried about this
Didn't give me a refund for rite aid order back onto my card when I canceled it 10-24-2022 still have the charge on my card not too happy about it
Other time give me a credit when I didn't even know it when I don't want credits, I like having refund back on my card

My order intended for my 95 year old Mother, was never picked up for delivery.
I utilized the Door Dash app & placed a meal order via Cracker Barrel. I called Cracker Barrel ( in Shepherdsville, Kentucky & they confirmed my order was in their system & was being prepped.
I called my Mother to advise her of time frame of expected delivery. The hour & 15 minutes went by but there was no delivery of the food to my Mother. I secured customer service phone number for Door Dash; was informed by 2 different representatives, who had beautiful accents but very difficult to understand. Result of my efforts were not to be resolved.
I was told by the Cracker Barrel clerk that I would have to place the order a second time & pay for it again & then attempt to be reimbursed for the first order by Door Dash. I then called my retired brother-in-law who lives in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.
He agreed to deliver my Mothers order for her which he did. I had used the Door Dash app successfully for my grandson on Sunday in the same manner.
- Convenient when i live 600 miles from my mother
- Aggravating when it fails

Doordash cancelled My order 30 minutes prior to it arriving.
User's recommendation: Use Uber eats or any other food service company not DoorDash
Driver needs Spanish speaker
The driver showed up and was trying to complete the order but was having issues taking a picture and completing the order, and I could not communicate with her because she only spoke Spanish, it took forever for me to find a number to call for help and after finally getting through to someone, they didnt speak Spanish and was going to transfer me to someone who did then I got someone that didnt speak Spanish and barely spoke English and wasnt understanding what I was asking for. After spending over 30 minutes standing out in the cold on this, we were both so frustrated.
By the time I was done the food was cold. And with the amount of money people pay for this service, this shouldve never happened.
When people have to interact with other people communication is a key factor. If the drivers dont speak English, then the customer should be able to call a number for help and speak to someone that can actually help.

THEY ARE GARBAGE ALL OVER THE COUNTRY DOORDASH DON'T CHECK WHO THE DRIVERS ARE IF YOU GOT A LICENSE YOU CAN DELIVER I'M GONNA NEED TB TEST RESULTS AND COVID ETC IF NOT DONT BOTHER!
