Doordash - Food Delivery Mobile Application Review

I have used door dash 5 times now and the app is pretty accurate when it comes to tracking the driver. This time, the driver said my food was delivered, but it never was. I waited 30 minutes for the customer service people to call me back because they said they would after contacting the driver, and they never did. I ended up speaking to 3 different customer service representatives and having to tell them my story each time. I finally decided to cancel my order and they could only offer me a complete refund and a $5 credit.

Estimated order time 45 minutes. Order status updated to delivered at 55 minutes, with no food delivered. DoorDash customer service explained that it had been passed to another driver who was 4 minutes away from the restaurant. 1:15 still no food. Offered a $10 credit on future purchase. That won't happen

Doordash Mobile Application Review

I have been trying to check out and pay for my order for 10 minutes now because a pop up comes up about using android pay which i refuse yet when i hit cancel it does not allow me to even use the card already in the system. This is absolutely ridiculous. I should not be forced to use a payment option i am not interested in. I am going to the other delivery sites. You have lost a great customer.

So I have submitted a receipt from door dash online that states what I have ordered. When I got my food it was the complete opposite. I ordered a mac &a cheese burger with bacon, I got a Mushroom burger with extra mushroom (I am absolutely and completely disgusted by mushrooms). I had also ordered the Onion stack and I got a platter of pretzels. I honestly might not ever order from door dash again.

I've tried Door Dash a number of times now and this service is miss more than it's hit. Almost without exception the order is late or items are missing.

Be UPFRONT!

I liked Doordash initially. Then I realized they were not only charging $6 per delivery but also embedding 8% into 'taxes and fees'. Come on, give me a break. Be HONEST about what you charge. So I'm paying $6 per delivery, 8% to Doordash and (usually) 15% to the driver. It is not about the price. It is about the hiding of the cost. I won't do business with them again because this kind of this smacks of being disrespectful and lacking in integrity. I do not want these kinds of businesses to survive. Then read about how employees feel. You get a sense they are just unethical all around. No way man.

I agree, the fees are ridiculous and make you not want to order. On top of that, they have outsourced to the Philippines and have left their US workers barely able to survive since the call volume to them is low because it all goes to the Philippines.

The US workers already get paid per call which is not much. They used the US workers to build the company up and have now done them dirty by pretty much taking their jobs and money away.

They deactivated my account as a dasher withiut warninf as well.They had a lawsuit after which they supposedly revised their deactivation policy (in theory) to include a review for deactivation policy. However in practice they told me over the phone it is for life..So it seems they are saying one thing publicly but privately they are not honoring their word or promises?I worked for them for around two yearsAnd almost a thousand dashes..

Doordash Houston _Flemmings steakhouse - very poor quality of food, expired meat, do not order from there!!!

We ordered on 09/02 a dinner from Flemming's steakhouse in Houston. It was our 21st anniversary and we have small kids and could not go out and decided to order steaks using DoorDash. We are using doordash maybe every 10 days or so and until now everything was fine. However, this time we paid $290 for dinner (only food, taxes and tips) and we had a very bad surprise. Two of the dishes (fillet mignon -$46- and bone in ribeye -$56) were very poor quality, The meat smelled as old and the taste was not good either., it was clearly meat beyond the expiration date! We contacted DoorDash immediately but they never cot in touch with us. We want a refund for that meat. We will never use DoorDash again and we will report Flemming's. Very disappointing!

Read on another site where employees of some restaurants are complaining of loss in tips. These employees do not have to fight the traffic, weather, or use their personal car.

Some of it may be the actual employees getting the order ready setting up the driver to fail. The restaurant needs to address this problem and mutual respect between restaurant staff and drivers because the restaurant chose to use this service in order to boosts it sales.

We do have enough people. We just have a lot of dashers who will unassigned from an order if it's too far away.

Sometimes the closest dasher will be over 10 miles away from a restaurant. If a restaurant is outside if their delivery area, they are not required to accept the order.
