I was discharged from hospital yesterday. I'd been extremely ill and was unable to cook for myself, so I ordered a Wendy's delivery thru DoorDash.
When it it arrived, only ONE item was correct. Four items were missing and another was made incorrectly. I notified DD and they gave me a whopping $13 credit (order was $28). Today I ordered a DD delivery from Miguels Mexican Food.
(An additional $12)When it arrived, it was so overly salty, that I kept searching for Lot's wife. It was inedible, so I had to toss it. I reported the issue on line and was told to suck it up. So, I tried the DD Chat function.
A lovely woman helped me and provided me with a $40 credit. I asked that this go onto my DD account as I'm still very ill and was hopeful this was an aberration. Since I was starving (3 bites of Miguel's salt fest all day) I tried to order from Wendy's again. A $27 order covered by my credit, but when it arrived FIVE bloody items were missing!!
I went online and was told that they couldn't compensate me. I called customer service and complained. I was offered an additional $5 credit. Great.
The woman kept telling me that I'd already been issued several credits.
For food that I didn't receive or that was inedible? I told her to send the FULL damn credit to my credit card as I want nothing more to do with them EVER.
User's recommendation: They obviously don't keep quality checks on the restaurants they use. Plus, their customer service is hit and miss. If you use them and they screw up, have the $$ refunded to YOU not on acct.
