On Jan 04,2019, I placed an order with Door Dash. Approximately 45 minutes after I placed my order I received an e-mail from Customer Support stating the dasher was having trouble finding my home & having trouble getting in contact with me. I checked the delivery instructions to verify the correctness of my phone number it was correct. Customer Support also stated that they also attempted to contact me via phone, e-mail, & text to no avail. So Customer Support cancelled my order. The interesting thing is I received the callentation e-mail at the same address they claimed they could not reach me. Customer Support also stated that since my order was cancelled they were keeping the $ 11.88 charged for my order. WHAT A BUNCH OF LIARS, CHEATS, & THIEVES!!!!! PEOPLE BE AWARE!!!!!!!

Details
I ordered a meal from cheesecake factory... 3 orders of lettuce wraps. They delivered only the lettuce, the other bag was not picked up by driver, he didn't verify. I called door dash, they gave me a credit for my next order. However, I am not able to place another order as they have deactivated account. And like many stories on here, they say they will call back within 2 business days and fix it. Crickets. I have called several times and they outright lie to me. Terrible customer service.

DoorDash in San Francisco, California - Bad communication, order was almost 2 hours late an no call, no update

I usually am so pleased with my orders from door dash because atleast I would get a text, a call or an email update online when in doubt I have been able to track the driver online on the website. Not tonite, it is now almost 2 hours after the estimated time of arrival, no communcation, no call..no nothing!!! When I called they said the driver was not answering calls and sitting at the restaurant waiting for the food. Why didn't he/she ask to use the phone to call door dash and have them contact the consumer.

After waiting for 2 1/2?hours for an order I was #119 in line for a chat with customer service. I got the phone number from another website. Two calls and 45 minutes later I got my order and a $10 credit. Very bad service and even worse customer service.
