Almost every experience with DoorDash has left me not ever wanting to use their services again. There is no communication. No recourse no way to appease disappointment or anger.

1/ Ordered Gelato for my team after 45 minutes the driver calls and says this business is no longer there. A new business recently added but my card was billed and then eventually refunded. My team disappointed. No comment from DoorDash

2/ Large order for a birthday celebration at work. After an hour the driver calls and asks what our order was and then it was made and delivered. Delivered long after all lunches were over, long past our birthday celebration and delivered only minutes before going into a meeting - so lunch still had to wait and get cold. When tracking the order it showed one driver on their way to the restaurant and anther at the restaurant - No comment fromDoorDash

3/ Another time driver called and said he was still at restaurant. Lunch was very late but not drivers fault.

4/ This one just might be the one that broke the camels back. . . Driver called 45 minutes late to say she is leaving highway. When she arrives hands me one bag - suspect since Ice cream and hot food was part of the order. In this bag the quart of soup was not in its container but all over the bag ruining everything. The ice cream being part of this looked like the soup. Everything was not editable. Can't really get in touch with DoorDash to complain I called the restaurant and the manager had to call DoorDash to send another driver to replace the ruined items. Dinner was 3 hours late and at that point 9:55 PM nobody was in the mood to eat or would even enjoy what was ordered despite the restaurants efforts to make sure we received our dinner.

Once the order is placed the only thing you can do is cancel it. You can't contact the driver or DoorDash. The real time tracking does't really work so that is no help at all. If there is something wrong with the order you can only contact the restaurant and they have no control. They can't recall a driver to send out a replacement they can't refund your money. It is all through DoorDash and they make it impossible to contact them directly. you are directed to a website to look at FAQ's that keep directing you back to FAQ's

This is exactly what happened to us on multiple times. I tried and tried to work with this company but they are really messed up.
