Antawani Wright-Davis was killed while working for DoorDash in Boston, MA. He was logged in and riding his bicycle when he was hit and killed by someone driving a dump truck.
I don’t believe that DoorDash is responsible for his death but I do believe that the company owes his family a sign of gratitude and sympathy — at least a card. They have lost a 19 year-old son, nephew, brother, and friend. DoorDash has lost a bright-eyed and courteous employee.
The company’s failure to acknowledge his death and contact his family is disturbing and reflects very poorly on DoorDash. Please correct this immediately.
Reason of review: Lack of concern for the employees.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
