dasher was first late for 2 hours (delaying our lunch from 12:30pm to 2:30pm), with no update whatsoever on doordash's platform and no communication from the dasher. spoke with customer service and said they got in touch with the dasher and he was just picking up the food and on his way.

Then found out that the dasher marked the delivery as completed on the platform, yet we didn't even receive a single item. Called the dasher, and he didn't answer in the first few tries, then he subsequently disabled his phone so I couldn't get in touch with him.

Asked Doordash again and they seem to not be able to locate him either. Spoke with the doordash team and they were not helpful at all and just said, yea, sorry for what happened, and here's $50 credit for you - your time, and your team members' health (after starving for 4 hours) are worth nothing to us and we don't care!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $500.
