I work for a restauraunt. 1.) We did not Partner" with them; they added us to their site without permission.

2.) Their people do NOT know our product. So if we need clarification....they have to get back to us. 3.) They place the order in the most circuitous way possible. Ways that no one would ever order food.

And sometimes there is a language barrier that makes it even more difficult. 4.) They want to know when the order will be ready--to the exact minute. And if we say it will be ready in 3 or 4 minutes, they try to micromanage our kitchen. "Have the order ready at 5:54." Sure.

Let me hover on that right away. 5.) If their driver shows up 20 minutes after we close--which we emphatically let them know--we are the losers. Lost revenue. Bad impression for customer.

But we can't stay open late ($payroll$) for a $15 order. 6.) Our delivery drivers take a hit. So does our wait staff.

Haven't they heard of tipping?

Its only value is free advertising.
