Tonight was the first time I've used DoorDash. My boyfriend and I placed a large order, kicked up our feet, and looked forward to a rare weekend night off.
The quoted delivery time was about an hour, which seemed reasonable for peak Friday night dinner hours. After an hour and a half passed I texted the driver to see if there where any issues finding my house. The driver called saying it would be another 45 minutes at least. Because it was on the other side of town.
A total Hour and a half over the quoted time. Frustrated, I called customer service to cancel my order. The representative was apologetic, and to my suprise, gave me a full refund! Which took affect pretty much instantly.
I definitely feel like Door Dash has some organizational and personnel issues. But the customer service was great.
