I place an order for delivery thru the app and cheked the route from the restaurant to my house, it said 40-45 min and that was fine with me, i got a text saying they had picked up my order from the restaurant about 20min after order was placed, and a few minutes later i cheked where the driver was at on the app and i notice they added two other stops at other restaurants with my food sitting in the car ,it didnt take super long at those stops but what it just pissed me off was that the driver decided to drop off those orders first even tho they passed by my adress first(and yes i did tip) My food was sitting in the car for over 40min and got nasty food that i wasnt able to eat, i try reaching customer service and the app gave me an email so i send it and it said they would get back to me asap!!! A week went by and i looked thru the door dash paperwork they send us at work (our company uses dd) and got a phone number , when i called them the lady said she could only refund me 16 dollars in dd credit when i paid almost 30 for two items and they can see when my food was picked up and drop off so they know im not lying and i mentioned to her that i also had screen shots of the route they kept changing and she said the same thing im sorey but that all i can do for you so they dont even care about customer service , i will never be using dd again and they should take their delivery issues more serious they are making a contract with the restaurant to deliver the food but they are not even making an effort to keep the quality that we are used to and door dash service is not free or cheap!!!

And they are just willing to help you when you have an issue!!! And on top of all i got a call from driver saying he was walking around and couldnt find my apartment number and i could hear his turn signal on the phone so i asked him if he was at the apartments or if he was driving so he said he was driving around the apartment complex mmmmm well the drive way is really small and there is only enough space for about 10 cars line up so how can you say you are driving around and i cheked outside he was just getting there!!!

Im a dd driver, I don’t like taking staked orders, some vendors take longer than others, and I belive this affects the quality of the customers food. Although some orders will appear first the driver app actually manages wich order is delivered first, and its not on the drivers hand, we can’t change the route or it wont allow to finish the delivery; so all the delivery schedule is managed by the app.

it is even hard for the drivers ro reach customer service. I understand your point of view. Lots of error are done by the app or the restaurant, and we end up kn the middle. I don’t do stack orders!

the idea of briging soggy food just discusts me. Also tip cash..

there is no tip transparency on the app. thanks!
