DoorDash - Inappropriate pay for too long a distance
I think Door dash is underpaying dashers in specific deliveries. I am willing to discuss this issue.
Examples today: I get a dash call to Accept two deliveries- One from Panda @ corner of Gig Way and Southsidecenter way for Ana Rodriguez. And the second from Five Big Brothers next door for Christine. Ana was delivered 200 yards away @ Kohl's for $5.50 and Christine at Industrial way. No.611 for $6.50 that is 1.50miles from Five Big Brothers.
Now the complaint is you give me and I accept a $4.75 from boiling point. At the point of accepting drivers do not know how long the trip is in order to make judgement. This order was for me to travel on I-405 to exit 5 highway 900 to Duvall into Newcastle area @ NE 21 St house 5039. This is over ten miles away for a pantry $4.75!!
This is totally inappropriate compensation. Drivers make all the money for Doordash. It is my humble opinion that I must not be exploited. Review this and if you feel I do not have good reason to complain then I will shut up and make it public and go elsewhere.
You can call me and discuss this complaint if you care at all. Eric Seda
User's recommendation: There should be away to tell what distance before one accept orders. This is my opinion.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
