I recently ordered food from a local food joint which was not too far from my house, I got a confirmation it was made, picked and was about to be delivered. I waited expectantly by my phone as it told me to, and waited for the driver to show up.
35 min later i wonder if the driver is lost on my street and message. The phone number did not work and as it Turned out the driver cancelled the pick up, it was never communicated. My food was just left sitting there at the restaurant, and until I had contacted CS there was no back up driver to pick it up. I had to argue with CS to get my money back, and that no I did no longer want to pay or receive the food that had been sitting out for over an hour by this point.
Worst experience ever. CS offered to refund back my free delivery fee.
- HA! They actually did not want to give me any refund until I asked for it multiple times.
