I order from DoorDash frequently (2-3 times/week). About 25% of the time, they are late or get something wrong.

This time, however, they failed to deliver. 2 hours later, they told me the employee left the food at my door (which nobody did). At that point, it was too late to have the food re-delivered (would have taken another hour). I asked for a goodwill gesture given the fault was theirs.

They gave me credit for a future delivery fee ($6.99) and repeatedly said that was all they can do, despite my emails requesting more given that I received no food.

This kind of customer service will not ensure their long-term success. I will not be ordering from them again and have deleted the app, looking for alternate options.
