The DoorDash Help page states that dashers get paid on a weekly basis for all deliveries completed between Monday - Sunday of the previous week (ending Sunday at midnight PST). Payments are transferred at that time directly to your bank account through Direct Deposit, and usually take 2-3 days to show up in your bank account, so payments will appear by Wednesday night.

If we’re private contractors we should not have a market rate . Uber doesn’t , grub doesn’t I mean they do but they don’t kick you out or tried to find a reason just to kick you off the platform . They work with you to try to make you successful with the company .

This isn’t true this website is a scam contact the real DoorDash through the app ask them for your refund and tell them what happened I got my refund the same day that I paid for my order this account looks real but it is not the real DoorDash Customer Support Line my employer here with the federal government has recorded information from and tracked/tracking all activity call logs with satellite pings for location information.

According to the DoorDash help section, to cancel the order you should follow these steps.
Mobile app:
  • select the order from the Orders tab;
  • tap 'Help' in the top right-hand corner;
  • under the Help Menu select 'Cancel Order' or click on the 'Cancel Order' button in the Order Details section;
  • follow the prompts on the screen.

Desktop:
  • select the button with three lines on the top left-hand corner;
  • select Orders and choose the live order you’d like to cancel;
  • select 'Help' on the right-hand side;
  • select 'Cancel Order';
  • follow the prompts on the screen.

You should be able to cancel your order before it gets delivered.

According to DoorDash Help, it is possible to dash in different cities. The only limitation is that you cannot dash outside of the country where you reside.
If you are in a new area that is near your most recent dashing location, you can immediately DASH NOW or SCHEDULE A DASH without making any changes on your Dasher app.
If, on the other hand, you want to dash in a completely new area that’s not near your most recent dashing location, you can automatically update your dashing location right in the Dasher app:
  • Open the app to see all the starting points around your current location;
  • If Dash Now is enabled (the area is busy), you'll see a pop-up confirming you would like to dash in your new location. Clicking Okay will change your dashing location and allow you to start a dash.

There is no way to contact anyone other than support for anything at Doordash. Your only option is to go to the corporate office in San Francisco and you will need an appointment. You will not be able to schedule an appointment with support, so there is no way really to contact anyone but support. I have even emailed the owner of Doordash with absolutely no response. Switch to Uber Eats if you can, they are a thousand times better than Doordash. Doordash does this intentionally just like they do with the pay model, they do not want the drivers to have the information, because they know they are screwing us over and do not care as long as they get their money. They say that the pay model is based on mileage, time to complete and desirability, which is a lie. Every order starts at a $2.00 base pay no mater if it is 2 or 20 miles away, and will take 5 minutes or an hour to complete, they do not care. If 5 drivers turn it down at $2.00 they raise it by $.25 and send it to 5 more drivers, if nobody takes it then they will raise it by another $.25, and so on until a driver excepts the order. That is why customers complain it takes an hour to get their order and its cold because that is how long it took Doordash to find a driver willing to take it for the lowest possible base pay. I finally got ahold of a support supervisor, and mentioned it they deactivated my account and will not give me a reason. Not only that but if a customer gives a good tip they will use that to supplement your base pay for that order. They know they are wrong, and that is why they make this information so hard to find. They have been sued before by drivers, customer and merchants, because of their unethical business practices, and they figure if nobody has the information they cannot sue. Doordash is a scam

Screw Doordash, they are scamming the drivers and merchants as well as the customers, and support just reads the same script and nothing is ever resolved. If you ask them for a detailed explanation of how the base pay is calculated they send you an email that says base pay is calculated by Mileage, time to complete and Desirability of the merchant. That is not at all how base pay is set. Here is how it really works. Every order starts at a $2.00 base pay, they send that to the nearest driver, if that driver turns it down they try about 4 other drivers. If those drivers turn it down they will increase the base pay by $.25 and send it out again. If they cant get anyone to take that after 5 attempts they increase it by another $.25, and so on until a driver finally accepts the order. That is why customers say it took an hour to get their order, Doordash spends 45 minutes trying to find a driver to take the order for the lowest possible base pay. On top of that If a customer leaves a big tip, they decrease the base pay. They were sued for taking tips from drivers before, this is just the loophole they use to steal from the drivers. I got ahold of a support supervisor and when I mentioned all of this to him, they deactivated my account, and gave no reason. I Filed an appeal a week ago and have still not heard back. I try to call support about it, they put me on hold for about 20 minutes and then the call drops. They are completely unethical, and could not care any less about the drivers merchants or customers as long as that money keeps coming in. If we would all just hold our ground and not accept anything less than a dollar a mile base pay ,they would be forced to pay us what we deserve. Half the time the base pay barely covers gas, and Doordash does not reimburse for tolls or long wait times at merchants. Go to Uber Eats, they take way better care of their drivers, and your pay is almost always larger than the estimated amount.

Go to www.doordashstore.com. You’ll have to wait for it to be mailed to you, but it’s free. Once you receive it, order another one so you’ll have an extra the next time you lose yours.
