Has anyone had a problem trying to sign up to be a Dasher and get a message for a review because of another account? Well I had that problem and they told me it was because of the same email on DoorDash, how does that make any sense!? So I deactivated the account and I still can't be a Dasher because of that same account that I deactivated, how does that make any sense!? If anyone has had any problems like this please sign.

Cannot Delete Account - FRAUD?

AI Highlights
  • - No option to delete the account.
  • - Payment info removed, but the address cannot be deleted.
  • - Believes the practice borders on fraud.

Unbelievable!!! After many, many bad experiences with Doordash, I finally gave up on them.

I went onto my account to delete it and found out that there is no way to do so. I believe that this practice of not allowing a customer to delete their account borders on fraud. I am thinking of calling a lawyer to see if a class action suit could be waged to put this company out of business. I am sure they could collect enough complainants to build a strong case.

I deleted my payment information and what little else I could, but I cannot delete the address on the account. What the *** is that about?

Already posted. Sheesh pissed consumer. Almost as bad with popups as places we're having issues with.

With you on class action as screenshots live forever on cancelled then verified again. My local grocery story will deliver next day free of charge.

They can delete account due to fraud. *** they deleted my account after telling me it's not my business who used my email. They hung up when questioned who signed up under my email.

DOOR DASH SUCKS

Guest

So how did your class action suit go ? Build a strong case for what ?

Where is the damage ? No harm, no foul. You introduced yourself to the company ; they keep records. Most companies do.

It is for their own benefit.

You voluntarily submitted all of whatever they have about you. Unless they are sharing it with unauthorized parties unknown, you have zero issue.

I am currently undergoing the same thing right in the middle of dashing, I had a screen popped up that said that I need to verify my identification. I went through the entire process twice, and I am still locked out with a page that pops up that says that they need to verify my identification.

I filed an appeal on the second of the month., and they are telling me it would take up to 10 days. Not only is it amazingly difficult to try and get in touch with support because they’re automated system sucks and they have multiple numbers for different things (the first one I called only handles orders while you’re dashing, then I had to do a Google search to find an actual number to contact them. Since I have family members that work in the tech industry, I am thoroughly confused. What takes them 10 days when it should be very easy to just reset the account with a couple of clicks.

I deleted and reinstalled the app.

I changed my password. I think the only thing worse than their customer service might be their tech department.

Doordash is awful. Their drivers are the worst.

I had more than a few drivers take my order and leave it at a location other than the one I specified. What you have to do is complain to Doordash corporate. Demand that you receive a full refund on all horrible experiences with their unprofessional drivers. If they don't do a full refund contact your attorney general in your state.

This will force Doordash to do two things: One, they will hire better help and punish horrible drivers that can't follow instructions by kicking them off the app. Or two, keep sending in complaints to your attorney general when they mess up and don't do a full refund.

Eventually the AG will move against them. Its either shape up or ship out Doordash.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Reza Riz

Completely true and very appropriate, it's the only way they'll get the message about their horrible service.

Guest

DoorDash is big fat nasty and out of control. They couldn’t care less about their customers drivers or the restaurants they serve. All they know how to do is play games and bully.

Analeise Xpw

They will not allow anyone to delete their information. Watch your account for bogus charges from Doordash.

You will not be refunded money no matter if you ordered food or not. Take them to court or press charges, contact your attorney general

Who wants cold food. Yuck!! I contact Dumpass dash and they can only credit the card that was used. Aahhh that card is canceled what the *** So I am going to publish every chance I get what a terrible place or business they are.

just to use Door dash.

When I tried to use my work email It was associated with a different name them me. that is fraud.

DoorDash - FULL REFUND

Good evening to all, I have been a DoorDash member for quite some time as well as a DoorDash member after today I will not be spending any more money towards this company of thieves. I placed a ShopRite order earlier today, the DoorDash dropping never called me to my phone or requested a mandatory pin which is always given.

He marked my order as complete which closed out the chat. He did not deliver the groceries and food items to my home which I spend a total of $310 on this order. Partial or benefits are federal funds from snap which was $262 and the rest paid off my capital one debit card. I have spoken to four different customer service agents who have been giving me the run around, I was issued a partial refund of only $80 which is despicable.

You are stealing federal government funds which is illegal and giving me a partial refund of less than what I paid in total from snap and my debit card. If my full refund is not back into its original payment method I will file a complaint with police and Involve an attorney. You are quick to generated taxes and fee and pay your dashers for poor service and let them get away with poor service.

How do you get away with dropping off food items to a wrong house and never contacting the person for their personal pin. At this time I will seek legal action.

Loss:
$310

Preferred solution: Full refund

The driver pulled up, marked my order as delivered before arriving to me! She handed my food to someone else and drove off.

I called the driver, and she said she did not receive a pin, which I had set to on, and she was sorry. So I contacted customer support, and they said there is nothing they can do for 50 dollars worth of food that was given to someone else, and the dasher admitted to not asking for a pin number. I had pictures of her giving it to the wrong person! The law was called and said for me to take legal action against DoorDash if this issue is not resolved.

It was a 50+ dollar order! The dasher marked the order as delivered before pulling up to the other person, even though she was supposed to ask for my pin number!

Doordash is very hard to deal with, when they are the ones in the wrong. I have been charged 5 times for a doordash dash pass account after its been closed for several months.

I have spoken with customer service several times, explaining the issue. Every time they say it wont happen again. A few months later, they try to charge me a membership fee. The account has been closed.

That shouldn't be possible!!

Constant issues with them trying to charge me for a canceled account. Terrible experience

Original review Mar 20, 2026

I had signed up for DoorDash several months ago. You guys charged me 3 times in 2 weeks for a monthly fee.

I canceled the account, and you guys tried charging me again a few months later. I was promised this would never happen again. Today you tried charging me again!

I'm contacting a lawyer about these issues. This is the 4th time you guys have tried to charge me a membership fee when my account has been closed for nearly a year.

Cons:
  • Over charge and charges when your account has been closed for months

Preferred solution: Full refund

User's recommendation: Do not get a doordash dash pass!! They charge you multiple times in a 2 week period and once you cancel your membership, they wait a few months and then start charging you again.

Gonna have to get surgery because of him making me do his deliveries, I sprained my ankle to the point where I have to get the graft taken out and another graft put back in

Original review Feb 18, 2026

I injured myself doing my ex's deliveries for him while he was in the car. His name is Timothy Routt.

I injured myself sometime in October and I went to the hospital. I had a sprained ankle. He made me go get the deliveries for him and then deliver them once we got to the destination. He was driving, but I was the one delivering the food.

You can call me or email me.

Just do something because he's not gonna stop; he's doing it with his new girlfriend. I thought the rules were to not have anybody that's in the car with you to do the deliveries for the DoorDasher.

Pros:
  • Delivery vs having to pick up food
  • When i use to actually get orders instead of wasting gas

Preferred solution: I would like him fired and an apology

  • - Two late orders had no Dasher and changing times.
  • - Taco Bell cancelled after a long wait; a refund was promised.
  • - Food Lion order was not delivered.

I had an extremely frustrating experience tonight. I placed two orders around 8:30 PMone from Taco Bell and one from Food Lionand waited over two hours with delivery times changing repeatedly.

No Dasher was ever assigned to either order.

Eventually, I was told my Taco Bell order was cancelled due to an internal issue. While I was promised a refund and a credit, the bigger issue is that this came after hours of waiting with no proactive communication. My Food Lion order was never delivered at all, despite being told the store would stay open until a Dasher arrived.

Both orders failed, and I ended the night without food after a significant wait. Unfortunately, this isnt a one-time problemIve experienced similar issues multiple times over the past six months.

When the app works, its great.

But experiences like this make it unreliable, especially late at night. This service seriously needs better order assignment, more honest delivery estimates, and stronger accountability.

Preferred solution: Better communication with customers and fixing whatever issues with the unnecessarily long wait times

I'm not sure what's so hard to understand. Either there are no drivers in your area or more to the point, no drivers that want to come out your way for a weak order like yours.

Something tells me that it's not them, it's you. Please tell us that you have a history of tipping.

Delete Doordash dasher account

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - I was deactivated for going to my car to get a knife after a threat.
  • - I believe it was self-defense and I was treated unfairly.

I got deactivated for defending myself against a male driver. If something happens to you and you react, you get deactivated. A male driver threatened me; instead of customer service asking what he did, they asked me three times what I did, like I started it. I contacted Lowe's and told them if the guy does something to where I will get in trouble by reacting, I will sue Lowe's. This person said to me, 'Since you're threatening to sue, I'm not talking to you anymore.' She called DoorDash, and my account was deactivated immediately (DoorDash did not reach out to get my side). The whole time I thought it was deactivated because I said I would sue. I found out months later, speaking with a lawyer, that it was because I had gone to my car to get my knife after the guy threatened me. I never showed the guy my knife; I just went to get it for my safety and was deactivated for that. I feel like that was self-defense, and I hate DoorDash for not understanding that I am a woman and will not tolerate being disrespected or threatened by a male. They said even though I didn't show the knife, I'm still deactivated for getting it. I am never able to DoorDash again due to this, so DoorDash can delete my Dasher account. I hate getting pop-ups from DoorDash and ads due to them likely having my cookies tracked. I don't want to see anything that reminds me of DoorDash at all ever again because DoorDash doesn't want dashers defending themselves in bad situations.

The story about the guy:

I was walking, minding my business, doing a shop and deliver. A guy randomly got in my way, then asked if I was in the CIA and if I was following him. He was likely a fugitive or has mental health issues. I answered no, then he asked if I was a man or a woman. I answered, he laughed, then leaned towards me and said, 'If you were a guy, I would whoop your *** I am from a predominantly white town where I am followed by the police for no reason. So, I don't feel comfortable calling them. I reacted by going to the car and getting my knife, as I should, because that was strange and made me feel threatened.

I was interrupted before telling the lawyer from DoorDash that the lady from Lowe's got upset with me for mentioning taking them to court and ended the phone call. Minutes later, I was deactivated. But they didn't deactivate the guy that threatened me immediately after I told them the location and time it happened. Strange, and I believe that's the real reason I was deactivated because they are scared that I was going to sue them for not banning that guy, and I was not the only one he did that to, and the employees were aware and told me they were.

This is not a false report I don't make false reports and I will not get arrested because this did happen was you there...? Make sure you have the facts from the source which is me and ask questions before coming to Doordash defense.

You must be a new driver or something probably didn't read my whole post. I have enough wealth coming to me to expect free handouts that's not what this is about.

You must live in poverty to assume such. It's about the fact that I was being harassed and nothing was done about it.

You will have a close female relative that will be done wrong by someone. And when that happens no one will believe her because of what you have been doing for the past 24 hours you been calling me names and accusing me of lying. Would you ask your female relative for proof if something like this happen!? No you wouldn't!

if you do your cold. Everytime someone does bad into me it goes back on them worse. You take your broke behind off this site and leave people alone. That's why you have plenty of time to respond because you're broke sir and don't have nothing else better to do.

You are a straight pussycat for arguing and accusing a woman of making up stories for a check. This happened almost two years ago no need to seek compensation that I already have plus more coming. You can say what you want now. Call me what you want I don't care anymore and whoever responds to you is a fake me.

You said something about screenshots you do that and look foolish when you are told that that person wasn't even me. I don't stay in the hood nor projects but you do talking to me like that. I seen your cute message about me so called staying in the projects lol!

I put the exact location of where I was in the hospital and tipped the dasher beforehand, but they didn't follow instructions. I was worried someone was going to take my food because they set it at a desk that no one actually works at.

I had to leave my desk when I couldn't go get my food. I am very frustrated because I gave the exact suite number, building number, and the name of the suite.

I am LIVID right now and will NEVER...

AI Highlights
  • - Refund requested for wine returned on 4/23 after a Dasher couldn't deliver due to expired ID.
  • - Refund denied by email; support calls were long.

I am LIVID right now and will NEVER EVER USE Doordash again! and I will spread the word how awful this service is.

I tried getting a Dasher to deliver a bottle of wine on 4/22 to 88 Portland Road, Highlands, NJ 07732. At the delivery point, the recipient had expired ID so Dasher could not leave wine, which I understand. However, the Dasher assured me I would get the refund when he returned the wine on 4/23 to Saltwater Liquors. The wine was $15.99 + tax.

I understand there is a cancellation fee which I am not expecting back BUT I am owed the refund for the returned wine. I got an email from DD saying they're "denying" my refund WTF why??? I called DD CS a few x, left on hold forever. I know the calls are farmed out to a call center in India somewhere, no offense nor discrimination or racism but it is very difficult to hear or understand your CS reps.

I escalated my call to a "supposed" manager who was useless and ended up hanging up on me!!! What kind of CS is THAT???!!!

I would like to know why I'm being "denied" MY $$$$ back??? and I hope whoever reads this email will care enough to resolve this horrible experience.

Where I work, dashers have kept items they went to pick up for others, such as eating the food and leaving an empty bag at the doorstep. I hope someone didn't keep it and you get refunded, boo.

No Dasher is going to risk their job by not returning a restricted ID-required item. Especially not a cheap bottle of garbage wine.

With your attitude I doubt that you are old enough to drink.
