I never got my food delivered to me at my door it was left on a brick wall outside my apartment. Delivery person sent me a picture of it sent to my phone but when I checked it was gone. And now I have no credit for the food I had ordered.

Cannot Delete Account - FRAUD?
Unbelievable!!! After many, many bad experiences with Doordash, I finally gave up on them.
I went onto my account to delete it and found out that there is no way to do so. I believe that this practice of not allowing a customer to delete their account borders on fraud. I am thinking of calling a lawyer to see if a class action suit could be waged to put this company out of business. I am sure they could collect enough complainants to build a strong case.
I deleted my payment information and what little else I could, but I cannot delete the address on the account. What the *** is that about?

It's hillarious how bothered that they are.
When theyre working a dead-end job and probably being taken advantage of like the drivers have been. If Doordash was stesling tips from the drivers. Imagine what they're doing to them. Lmbo
Yet, they're getting their blood pressure up over little old me.
Who will be receiving a full compensation. When we only asked for the discount. Lol...
And, well be free, married, and still having kids, and running businesses. Meanwhile, their still in an uproar.
It's a matter of time before they're hit with another classaction lawsuit for stealing customers' bank information, etc.
Oh, and I'm waiting for them to dare attempt to steal from my account.

I ordered food from Door Dash and they dropped my meal off on my porch, did not knock, just left it. It was missing three-quarters of my order to the tune of over $45.00!!
And, the two tacos that they delivered were half gone as if the driver had eatten the tacos. I called the restaurant where the food came from and they said they fulfilled the order as it was placed. I then called Door Dash and they rejected my claim with no reason! I did not receive what I ordered and I want a refund on my credit card which they refuse to do!
Very unprofessional! I will not ever order from Door Dash again!

I ordered $45 worth of food last night from McDonald's. There was no Dasher to pick up the order, and I contacted support to find out if I could possibly either change the order to pick up myself.
They informed me that I needed to call the store. I attempted to do so, but nobody answered, so they canceled my order. I then asked if I was going to be credited back to my account so that I could purchase food from somewhere else. They sent me $9.80.
I went through seven agents and each one of them prematurely closed the chat. They have since denied my $35.25.
So, in essence, they've stolen $35.25 from me and have refused and denied my claims to be reimbursed. I'm pissed.

I didn't receive my order. When I filed a complaint, I was told by two DoorDash support workers that I was granted a refund within 24 hours.
After waiting almost 48 hours, I had support call me. I was on hold for 20 minutes. Right before the lady answered the phone again, I received a text message saying my request was approved.
However, she then told me my request was denied. I'm about ten shades of pissed off and considering taking my business to Uber Eats...

I have filed a formal complaint with the BBB. I requested a refund on 1/17/25 was supposed to receive $14.42 only was issued a $9.99 refund.
I contacted door dash on 2/9/25 after reviewing my account to get the correct amount issued to my account. Instead you charged my card several times for $7.12 with out my authorization, issued credits to my account with out my permission and refused to correct the refund amount. Refused to give corporate office number or employee id information. Disconnected chat.
Promise to refund $7.30 then told you can't because of the credit you issued without my permission.
I want my refund issued to my account. Please see attached documentation.

Good evening. At 14:47 today, I placed an order with WnB Factory- Wings located in Smyrna, GA.
I initiated and completed the order within their website and paid the business $35.11 as requested. After payment, I was given a delivery time frame of 28-33 minutes, and it was ONLY at that time I found my meal would be brought by a contractor from your company. I have had one previous dealing almost three years ago with DoorDash and made the choice to never use your services again. If I would have been made aware of this prior to post payment, I would have chosen to pick it up, to be totally honest.
However, I thought that my previous issue had to be an isolated incident and this time would be great, so I popped in a movie and waited. At 15:13, my order was picked up by Gregory. True, the driver only had three minutes to deliver the food (I live 12 minutes away) but in this day and age, he could have his own helicopter or small plane. I mean anything is possible, right?
Well, unfortunately for my declining blood sugar, Gregory wasn't a pilot. In fact, he wasn't a delivery driver at all as if he were I wouldn't be sitting at 21:12 still hoping Mr. Gregory will pull in my driveway with the order, still piping hot, and make my dreams come true. Doubtful but maybe.
Doordash, I would like you all to know that this email is in no way the first attempt at communication about this order. The first attempt was at 15:42 with a series of three calls to the number provided for the driver. Being as his auto went from WnB with my food to a location nowhere close to my home and had been there for quite some time, I felt speaking to him would fix this issue in no time. The issue I found was the number is disconnected.
Driver of the year, Gregory, went AWOL. My next call was to the restaurant where the language barrier was so severe my anger level made me hang up the phone, not caring if I ever ate again, after 12 minutes on the phone with them. Then, finally, 25 minutes later I call you all and, in true form, your AI info finder 'couldn't understand me' and stole nine minutes of my life without doing the one thing I wanted which was to 'speak to a live agent!!' So now, after a delicious lunch for me and my guest of cereal, I have chosen to send this email to you all as I am requesting... no, I am very sternly asking...
for the $35.11 to be refunded to the card used for payment in an extremely swift manner in addition to a response from you all. As the restaurant is closed and I'm sure Old Gregory ate the 2 cheesesteaks, fries, and drinks I was so excited about a refund at this point is the only option.
I thank you all for your time and I will be waiting with bated breath for the very quick answer I know you all will give. Until then...

I have had my debit card information stolen for the second time by Dashers in Lincoln, NE. I called to file a complaint and dispute, and the customer service person stated, 'It was authorized.' It wasn't my purchase.
They refused to provide any resolution to the issue and adamantly claimed that I made the purchase. This has happened before. The purchase was made in Omaha, Nebraska, but I was sitting in my living room in Lincoln, Nebraska. It turns out my card was skimmed.
DoorDash simply refuses to take care of their customers.
If your information was stolen, they don't care to protect it. Dashers just steal the info and DoorDash is like, 'well, it was you.' Once was already bad enough, but now it has happened twice!

on 8/5/24 , I made a order to taco bell...the problem came where the driver didn't follow directions, and didn't notify me that they were dropping off the food. they didn't even knock on the door..( it was not handed to me , it was left on the ground with bug!
look at the picture they took!).the just set the food outside and left..now., if it wasn't for me getting other deliveries I would not have known the food was out there...the app said 60 - 84 mins so, it wasn't like I thought it was late..I checked the app, and the food had been sitting out there way over 30 min...the chips were soggy, the food was cold, and if you know you can't reheat tacos. you can reheat tacos because it has sour cream., cheese, dice tomatoes,bugs, and lettuce, etc...I clearly had hand food to me on the order if you look...the food was not edible, and I had to order more food..pizza to be exact.i called and the agent said he would refund my full amount of $43.37 because of what happened...however, when I looked at my account he lied and only refunded $10.97..I asked him repeatedly if he was was putting the $43.37 back on the original payment method, and I also asked to speak to a manager..he said he would fix it, and the manager has the same access..cool, not..so I called on 8/6/24 I explained the same stuff to the new agent..he said policy only permits 25%..I ask to speak to a manager, he said a manager can't and wont help me..they will tell me the same thing..I still asked for a manager, he said the manager, would call me on whatever contact information I have on file..he didn't verify no information, so I asked for doordash phone number..once I got it,I called spoke to agent, she said she would help it would take 2hrs, because the team is in the escalation department and they would fix it...that was yesterday...no one has called me! it has not been fixed! I was forced to take amount I didn't agree to!
I paid for food I could not eat because of a driver could not follow directions...I had to file several complaints and I still want A MANAGER TO CALL ME

I had a DUI on my DMV report, and I knew about it, but the checker didn't include it in their report. I was with Doordash for 17 months before being dropped from the team.
They didn't seem to care about it; you could tell. Now they've sent me an email to the same address I used before, but they said I didn't have an account under that email. I performed the required selfie action and sent the same driving license as last time. Everything was approved; they even allowed me to change my bank account details.
I got an offer to complete one dash within a week to receive a gift. However, despite receiving every email they sent, I'm still not active.
It's disappointing as a business... I strongly recommend not to attempt this.

Where is the damage ? No harm, no foul. You introduced yourself to the company ; they keep records. Most companies do.
It is for their own benefit.
You voluntarily submitted all of whatever they have about you. Unless they are sharing it with unauthorized parties unknown, you have zero issue.

I got deactivated no warning my rating was 5.0 I got no email stating why. I got my appeal back it just says violated terms and conditions.
Doordash is awful. Their drivers are the worst.
I had more than a few drivers take my order and leave it at a location other than the one I specified. What you have to do is complain to Doordash corporate. Demand that you receive a full refund on all horrible experiences with their unprofessional drivers. If they don't do a full refund contact your attorney general in your state.
This will force Doordash to do two things: One, they will hire better help and punish horrible drivers that can't follow instructions by kicking them off the app. Or two, keep sending in complaints to your attorney general when they mess up and don't do a full refund.
Eventually the AG will move against them. Its either shape up or ship out Doordash.

You will not be refunded money no matter if you ordered food or not. Take them to court or press charges, contact your attorney general

I just had the same experience with customer service. I wanted to update my email address and was unable to save the changes.
even after 4 2 step verification's.. Chat people were not any help so I called . The only thing that person could keep saying was make a new email address to sign up again. Not doing that.
