Cannot Delete Account - FRAUD?

Unbelievable!!! After many, many bad experiences with Doordash, I finally gave up on them.

I went onto my account to delete it and found out that there is no way to do so. I believe that this practice of not allowing a customer to delete their account borders on fraud. I am thinking of calling a lawyer to see if a class action suit could be waged to put this company out of business. I am sure they could collect enough complainants to build a strong case.

I deleted my payment information and what little else I could, but I cannot delete the address on the account. What the *** is that about?

Where is the damage ? No harm, no foul. You introduced yourself to the company ; they keep records. Most companies do.

It is for their own benefit.

You voluntarily submitted all of whatever they have about you. Unless they are sharing it with unauthorized parties unknown, you have zero issue.

I got deactivated no warning my rating was 5.0 I got no email stating why. I got my appeal back it just says violated terms and conditions.

Doordash is awful. Their drivers are the worst.

I had more than a few drivers take my order and leave it at a location other than the one I specified. What you have to do is complain to Doordash corporate. Demand that you receive a full refund on all horrible experiences with their unprofessional drivers. If they don't do a full refund contact your attorney general in your state.

This will force Doordash to do two things: One, they will hire better help and punish horrible drivers that can't follow instructions by kicking them off the app. Or two, keep sending in complaints to your attorney general when they mess up and don't do a full refund.

Eventually the AG will move against them. Its either shape up or ship out Doordash.

They will not allow anyone to delete their information. Watch your account for bogus charges from Doordash.

You will not be refunded money no matter if you ordered food or not. Take them to court or press charges, contact your attorney general

I had a fraudulent charge on my debit card for 68.87. I don’t use this service cause I live in a rural area.

Who wants cold food. Yuck!! I contact Dumpass dash and they can only credit the card that was used. Aahhh that card is canceled what the *** So I am going to publish every chance I get what a terrible place or business they are.

Makes no sense.

Thank god the bank did give me my money. Door Dash is a terrible service

I just had the same experience with customer service. I wanted to update my email address and was unable to save the changes.

even after 4 2 step verification's.. Chat people were not any help so I called . The only thing that person could keep saying was make a new email address to sign up again. Not doing that.

just to use Door dash.

When I tried to use my work email It was associated with a different name them me. that is fraud.

Like I said myself and my sister when they the Loper wants to get involved in this so we can all get a lawsuit started it's on call for it's on sanitary and their rudeness is horrible replace orders they mess it up or they don't deliver then they are supposed to send us a refund and I got the emails and they have not refunded me back they owe me credit it was just been back on my card today it's not they are trying to take money yesterday 10 x off my debit card and I have it blocked where they cannot get it but I do have it on my phone sometimes when we get the food it's not hot it's cold we need a delivery people to do what they need to do to help the ones that cannot get out I'm in Alabama my sister's right next door to me and we need something done for him Marshall County and your owner I agree does need to be sued and he needs to pay everyone at least $3,000 a piece because it's not how you run a business you can't call and talk to anyone when you chat with them on their website the rude they block you from ordering but they take your money anything you want to add on your part do you have anything you would have had to tell me and I'll help put it on does this is really unfair to my sister and I both that's not how you do your business and I am done allowing people do me and my sister wrong and I'm here to support anybody because we all need to get together and do this be safe everyone

I placed an order on DoorDash for pickup from DashMart the other night. Then our car wouldn't start, so we didn’t make it until the next day to pick up the order.

I basically got laughed at by the employee after he finally came to the service window. I paid $24-something on my EBT card for the order, never got any of the items, and was refused a refund for an extremely vague reason—absolute utter crap. I also had a previous issue with another order for a pizza and alcoholic beverage; they canceled my pizza, apparently for no reason, and substituted the drink I ordered with a different (disgusting) one. The lady still got the full tip like I got my pizza and everything.

SMDH.

I threw the Four Loko in the trash and went to bed hungry. Substitutions should not be at the driver's discretion; the two drinks couldn't have been more different.

I ordered pizza and the salad was not complete, fresh, and not correct. I ordered a veggie pizza.

This had mushrooms and onions; that’s it. Grandson could not eat that either.

I received a bad pizza from Pizza Hut. I contacted DoorDash and sent them valid pictures that they asked for my stomach is cramping the meat taste funny it was literally no pizza sauce.

It was hard, and DoorDash literally would not compensate me in no kind of way. I could understand if I didnt send them valid pictures. Anytime I put in a complaint. I send them valid pictures and they they have compensated before they talking about a history, my history is has not even been that big when I have sent something in.

It has been valid and they know it. I havent ordered from DoorDash in over a year from now on.

I will not order from them again. They are a sad *** company thats making money off of people us and they would not treat us right especially when you give them proof I could understand if I didnt show them valid proof that the Pizza wasnt right they told me I need to go to the doctor just to be compensated for a bad pizza all I asked for was my refund or a credit they wouldnt do that if I was to send yall the pictures yeah I would have gave me a refund with no problem

User's recommendation: I literally recommend for customers to not use DoorDash. They don’t care about you. They just want your money. I recommend use anybody else but DoorDash when you send them valid photos to show them that your order was bad they would not do anything for you. everybody don’t let stuff like that slide. I even have scrapping in my stomach from the pizza from Pizza Hut that I ate. I literally had to take medicine my stomach is still acting up right now. It feels a little better.

The dasher was at the location and had the food in the bag and sent a photo and because the kids were rude decided not to deliver it to me. She was the rude one and unprofessional.

She called me and hung up on me when I confronted her. She should not work for doordash.

I am writing because your staff made choices that caused me real harm. I ordered groceries because I needed food.

Instead of helping, your team sent me rotten items that no one should ever be forced to eat. This wasnt an accident. They saw the condition of the food. They knew it was spoiled.

They sent it anyway.

When I reached out for help, they didnt fix anything. They didnt care that I couldnt afford to replace what went bad. Instead, they talked down to me and pushed blame back on me, as if I was the problem for asking for food that was safe. That is not poor service.

That is choosing to hurt someone because it is easier than doing the job right.

I went without food because of this. Not three meals a day any meals. I was already struggling, and they made it worse. No one should be put in that position.

The people who handled this did not act like they were serving customers.

They acted like they could get away with doing whatever they wanted, even if it meant putting someones health at risk.

I want this taken seriously. I want someone to look at what happened and explain why workers were allowed to treat me like that and send out food they knew was not safe to eat.

If you want to report poor service, unprofessional behavior, or other concerns caused by a DoorDash driver, apply to the company customer service representative at the following number: 855-431-0459.

To change the delivery address on DoorDash, follow the existing address in the upper right corner of the company’s website. To select another delivery place, click on the address you need from the list.

To view your credit balance on iOS, tap on the “Account” icon at the top and choose “Payment”. On Android, tap on the icon in the top left corner and select “Payment Methods”.

In the Merchant Portal, navigate to the “Orders” section, where there are orders with a red “Error Charge” tag. Click on the “Dispute Charge” button on the right, check the items you want to dispute, choose the reason for why you are disputing the charge, and click on the “Dispute Error Charge” blue button.

If your DoorDash account has been deactivated, or you're unable to access it, you can get back to it by resetting your password. For it, click “Forgot Password” in the login screen on your iOS or Android app, enter the email address you usually use for your Dasher account, and click on the “Reset” button. Check your email, where you should receive a letter from no-reply@doordash.com with the subject line “Password reset on www.doordash.com” and the link leading to the page with detailed prompts.

To cancel DoorDash Pass, click/tap the account icon, navigate to “Manage DashPass”, and select “Cancel Membership”. After this, select why you want to cancel your subscription, click on the “Select reason” button, choose “Cancel DashPass”, and click on the “Go it” button, after which you will be directed to the “Manage DashPass” page.

To delete the DoorDash account, visit the home page and choose “Account Settings”. Click on “Manage Account” in the top right side of your profile box, select “Delete Account”, and follow the further steps.

To get DoorDash Pass refund, navigate to the “Orders” on the left side of the screen and click “History”. You’ll see your completed and canceled orders. By using the filters, find the order you want a refund for, open it, and in the small window with the order details click on “Request Refund”.
