We've been using Door Dash for the past few months and they've been very good. Especially when it comes to calling us to approve extra charges for an order placed using the restaurant's online menu.
"Is it OK if we add $2.00 for the shredded beef and fish in the tacos?" Sure. Within minutes, the original charge is credited and the new charge entered. No problemo.
But tonight, the restaurant, it seems, stopped using Door Dash and refused our order. Again, no problemo.
But where's my refund of $50?
It seems it is a simple matter to add and change charges to orders nearly instantaneously. Not so much when it comes to actually refunding the charges for food that couldn't be delivered because the restaurant is no longer using Door Dash.
