DoorDash - Where's The Beef?
We ordered through DoorDash tonight. We ordered 4 items.
What we received was cold and had congealed. One item was missing, the calzone. There is no way to get in touch with this company other than by an online form. I was offered a refund for the item which I took since there was no other option for recourse.
I still want my calzone but I won't reorder it and pay more tax, another tip and wait for another 90 minutes due to their incompetence. The most frustrating part of this experience having no way to rectify the situation. I am sure that the restaurant which we eat at and order from made all 4 dishes. They use a separate oven on the other side of the room from the main kitchen for their pizzas, strombolis, and calzones.
The calzone would have been packed in a small pizza box and put at the counter.
The rest of the order was delivered in a bag. If I had been able to reach DoorDash, they could have sent a driver to get it but I had no way to get food tonight.
Reason of review: Problem with delivery.
Monetary Loss: $13.
DoorDash Pros: Idea of having restaurant food delivered.
DoorDash Cons: That there is no way to obtain items missing from my order, Receiving only three of the four items that i ordered.
